SHOPPING BASICS
Shopping with Planet Ark Direct is simple. Just follow these two steps...
1. Select a category from the Products menu on the left, then select the individual products you want and Add them to your shopping basket.
2. When you've finished selecting products, go to Shopping Basket on the right and click Checkout, then follow the prompts to complete your order.
Credit cards
We currently accept online payment by either Mastercard or Visa. You can also pay by cheque (see below).

OPTIONAL FEATURES
1: Pay by phone/cheque
If you don't want to pay online, select "Pay by cheque or phone" in Step 2 of the Checkout process and follow the prompts. Then phone us on 02-9557 9658 with your credit card details, or post a cheque payable to Energy and Water Solutions and mailed to "Planet Ark Direct, 583a King Street, Newtown, Sydney, NSW 2042". We will ship your order as soon as payment clears. Please do NOT make cheques payable to Planet Ark or Planet Ark Direct.
Note it can take up to seven days for cheques to clear.
2: Shopping Basket
Click on View Basket to load the full Shopping Basket page with some extra features:
1. Save/Recover Basket: allows you to Save a shopping basket, then Recover it on a future visit to finish the order.
2. Make Enquiry: allows you to submit your basket to us with an email enquiry. (This option only displays if you already have items in your shopping basket.)
3. Speed Order: if you know the codes of the products you want, you can enter them here to save time.
3: Accounts
When you order on Planet Ark Direct, our system automatically creates an account for you. If you log in on the My Account page on future visits, you can review your past orders and save time checking out, as you don't need to re-enter shipping details. If you have a customer discount, you must log in to get the discount.
Our system assigns you a customer code (password), which you can change after you log in. If you forget this password, you can ask our system to instantly send it to your email address.
OTHER INFORMATION
Definitions
Where a product is described as natural it contains no artificial or synthetically-produced ingredients. Where a product is described as organic 100 per cent of its ingredients have been certified organic by a credible certifying body either in Australia or in the product's country of origin. Where a product is described as biodegradeable it will decompose naturally within a relatively short period, but exact decomposing times will vary according to the product and manner of disposal. Contact us if you require more information on a particular product.
Secure online shopping
Shopping online with Planet Ark Direct is as secure as using a credit card in shops, restaurants or other online shops. Your order is sent to a secure area of our server, protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology. Credit card details are sent as 56-bit encrypted emails and unscrambled on our office computer using decryption software with a unique key number. We then check your details with your card provider, process your order and delete your card details from our system.
Note: you will only see the secure page dialogue box or padlock/key symbol on the last stage of checkout, where you enter credit card details.
